57 VOLUNTEERS


 

Engine 57-1

Engine 57-1 is a 1994 Sutphen Monarch 8 person cab with a 20 inch raised roof and a command post with an EMS cabinet. Power is provided by a Detroit 8V92 450hp diesel with an Allison automatic transmission. Engine 57-1 features a Hale 2000 g.p.m. two stage pump, 750 gallon water tank and a 30 gallon class B foam cell with 125 g.p.m. eductor. It is equipped with six attack lines (all crosslays, five 200' 1 3/4" lines, and one 200' two-inch line). An 1 3/4" front bumper trash line, 1250 g.p.m. deck gun, and a 12000 lb. front winch. Engine 57-1 carries 1500' of 5" LDH, 1250' of 3" supply, a four bottle 6000 psi cascade, two Hurst Rescue tool systems and a 15kw Harrison hydraulic generator feeding six 750 watt quartz lights and two rear mounted tripod 750 watt quartz lights. This unit has a large amount of salvage and overhaul tools, saws, cribbing, ropes, fans, air bags, and all necessary engine and rescue company tools. This unit is first-due on Rescue assignments.

 

 

Engine 57-2

Engine 57-2 is a 1989 Pierce Lance 6 person cab powered by a 350hp 6V92 Detroit diesel coupled to an Allison automatic transmission. Engine 57-2 features a top mounted 1250 g.p.m. two-stage Waterous pump, with a 1250 gallon water tank. Engine 57-2 is equipped with four attack lines, (three 1 3/4" and one two-inch) a rear booster line, 150' 1 3/4" trash line off of the front bumper, a 1250 g.p.m. deck gun, and 6kw generator. Engine 57-2 carries 1200' of 5" LDH, 1200' of 3" supply, and one Hurst rescue system.

 

 

Engine 57-5

Engine 57-5 is a 2005 Sutphen Monarch 8 person cab with a 15" raised roof and an EMS cabinet. Engine 57-5 is powered by a CAT C-13 525hp twin turbo diesel with an Allison 4000 transmission. Engine 57-5 features a 2000 g.p.m. Hale pump with a Williams Around-the-pump foam system, 900 gallon tank, 70 gallon class A and 30 gallon class B foam cells. It is equipped with six 200' 1 3/4" crosslays, two 400' 2" rear attack lines, 500 g.p.m. portable deck gun, rear booster line, front bumper 150' 1 3/4" trash line, top mounted 1250 g.p.m. Arkon hi-riser deck gun, 2500' 5" LDH, 1200' 3" Supply, and a 15kw Onan hydraulic generator feeding seven 750 watt quartz lights. It also carries a 6000psi air cascade system, hydraulic ladder rack, salvage and overhaul tools and a complete Hurst Rescue tool system.

 

 

Tanker Company 57

Tanker 57 is a 1997 Peterbilt, Model 377 tractor pulling a 2001 6000 gallon Stainless Steel Tank Corporation trailer. Tanker 57 features an 1800 g.p.m. Hale pump powered by a 250hp turbo Dutz engine mounted on the trailer. The pump has seven 5" discharges with one 3" that is piped directly through the tank to a 1250 g.p.m. Akron hi-riser deck gun, mounted on the rear top end of the trailer. This deck gun can be used for pump-and-roll or stationary operations. The right-end fender of the trailer holds 50' of 5" LDH supply and the left side holds two 150' 1 3/4" preconnects. There are also two rear reels, one on each side of the trailer, with 50' of 3" supply. It is also equipped with a 10kw AMPS generator supplying eight 750 watt quartz lights.

 

 

Brush 57-0

Brush 57-0 is a 1985 Chevrolet one-ton chassis which carries 200 gallons of water, 16hp fire pump, and a 4kw generator.

 

 

Ranger All Terrain Vehicle

Polaris Ranger 6x6 all terrain vehicle.

 

 

Utility 57-8

Utility 57-8 is a 2004 Dodge quad-cab. This unit is utilized as a command/utility unit, and is also equipped with a snow plow and first responder BLS equipment.

 

 

Utility 57-10

Utility 57-10 is a 2002 Ford Excursion which is used as a BLS support unit, and also tows the Marine unit.

 

 

Marine 57

Marine 57 is a 1986 19-foot Boston Whaler with a 150hp Johnson motor. This unit is utilized for all Delaware Bay water rescues.
